Biography:
Commissioner Schaum was elected to the Board of Commissioners in 1997 and served as the Vice President of the Board from 2000-2003, and President from 2004-2005. Mr. Schaum is the 2004 recipient of the American Public Works Association Elected Official of the Year.
Professionally, Mr. Schaum is employed as a Customer Service Manager for Taylor Products PA, a food service equipment distributor located in Frazer, PA.
Within our community, Mr. Schaum has served as a volunteer firefighter with the Oreland Volunteer Fire Company since 1971, and presently serves as Assistant Chief and Secretary. Mr. Schaum is also a member of the Fire Chief's Aid Association of Montgomery County and the Oreland Town Watch.
