The newest edition to the township's park system, Laurel-Beech Park is located on the site of the former Robertson Greenhouses at 1313 Mermaid Lane in Wyndmoor. This six and one-half (6.5) acre parcel has been redeveloped to include the township's only full-size soccer field, a neighborhood playground and off-street parking facilities. The township is currently accruing funds to construct a recreation pavilion that will house a concession stand, storage facilities and restrooms for park users. The park purchase was made possible through a grant from the Montgomery County Open Space Preservation Program.
